Beijing, February 14, 2006 - Ambassador Qiu Shengyun, Former Vice President of China People's Institute of Foreign Affairs and Special Advisor of the Chinese Cultural Foundation with members of the Chinese Cultural Foundation delegation also attended the reception at the Great Hall of the People.

Beijing, February 14-15, 2006 - CHINA-US BUSINESS FORUM was organized by the China General Chamber of Commerce, USA, the People's Daily, the Ministry of Commerce,PRC China, and was co-sponsored by the Chinese Cultural Foundation.
During this Forum, the Chinese Cultural Foundation was asked to host a Panel of leading business executives to address the subject of the importance of culture in successful business and government relations.

WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM, China Business Summit Beijing, September 12-13, 2004
The Chinese Cultural Foundation ("CCF") was invited by the World Economic Forum ("WEF") to play a major role in its China Business Summit held in Beijing, September 12-13, 2004.
1) WEF - GALA DINNER. During the Gala Dinner at the Great Hall of the People in Tiananmen Square, the CCF exhibited the collection of 32 "Rare Birds of China", Audubon-style paintings. These beautiful but endangered species were used to bring attention to China's culture and conservation programs.
CCF Trustee and Co-Chair of the event, John W. Allen, in a key-note address, encouraged China’s leadership to play a major role in environmental protection not only in China but worldwide. The event was attended by more than 300 guests from China and the World Economic Forum.

2) WEF - "Celebrating the Life and Art of Mu Xin." CCF hosted an Exhibition of 30 of Mu Xin's recent landscape paintings. Each of the 500 WEF attendees received a copy of Mu Xin’s commemorative catalog, produced especially for the WEF Summit.
3) WEF "Nightcap – A Conversation with Mu Xin", hosted by Elizabeth Wang, President of CCF, with an exclusive NHK video interview . This presentation was followed by a discussion joined by Professor Chen Danqing of Qinghua University, a student of Mu Xin.
4) WEF Special Panel Discussion: "The New Chinese Aesthetic - Art, Values and Society". This event was chaired by Dr. Aldo Fozzati, Trustee of the Chinese Cultural Foundation, who was joined by Elizabeth Wang and some of China's best know cultural leaders and media entrepreneurs for a lively discussion of the importance of art and culture in China’s emergence as a world power.

Chinese Ambassador Zheng Weichao (center), delivered a personal message from China’s President, Hu Jintao at this historic event.

DONGUAN, November 26-28, 2004 - The Chinese Cultural Foundation co-sponsored the Asia Capital Forum in Dongguan, China. This conference was attended by 400 Asian business leaders. Elizabeth B. Wang, CCF President, was joined by Professor Ruoshi Hou of Qinhua University and Yan Wu in presenting art exhibits and leading panel discussions.

NEW YORK, June 22, 2004 - The Bank of China hosted a special event for the Chinese Cultural Foundation at the NYC headquarters of the bank. This special evening included a display of recent landscape paintings by Mu Xin, who is known as one of China’s most significant artists, writers and poets. More than 200 business, diplomatic and cultural leaders attended. A presentation was made by Mu Xin, with additional comments by Wang Guangya, Chinese Ambassador to the UN, Bailin Zheng, General Manager of the Bank of China, and Elizabeth B. Wang, President of the Chinese Cultural Foundation.

New York City Mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg, in a written salute stated: “We pay tribute to this amazing artist, Mu Xin. I recognize the Chinese Cultural Foundation for making this evening’s event possible. You have played an important role in maintaining our City’s cultural vitality.”

NEW YORK, October 16, 2003 - The Chinese Cultural Foundation held a special reception and exhibition “Celebrating the Life and Art of Chen Chi” which was co-hosted by Mr. Bailin Zheng, General Manager of the Bank of China, at the Bank’s US headquarters in New York City. Chen Chi was honored by numerous dignitaries, and received written salutations from World Bank President, James D. Wolfensohn and New York City Mayor, Michael R. Bloomberg.
Chen Chi's paintings were provided by the Elizabeth Wang Gallery, which has recently celebrated its 10th Anniversary in New York City.

NEW YORK, United Nations, July 28, 2003 - The Chinese Cultural Foundation co-sponsored an exhibition entitled: “Beyond East and West” with noted artist, Zhiyuan Cong (right). This event was held at the United Nations in New York City, with an opening reception hosted by Chinese Ambassador Zhang Yishan (left). More than 300 distinguished quests attended, including Yue-Sai Kan (center).
