The Chinese Cultural Foundation and Citibank co-sponsored a special Chinese New Year celebration featuring Xinle Ma, one of China's most prominent artists.  The event highlighted the "Year of the Tiger" with an exhibition of Xinle Ma's dramatic Tiger paintings and with music provided by Princeton University's famous singing group the "Tigertones".

More than 200 distinguished guests attended the lively event, including William Rhodes, Senior Vice Chairman of Citigroup, Professor Robert A. Mundell, Nobel Laureate and CCF Advisor, Henry Parker, III, Founder of the Princeton "Tigertones" singing group, Henry Tang, co-Founder of the Committee of 100 , Stephen Orlins, President of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and Chien Chung "Didi" Pei, Vice Chairman of the China Institute, who had just returned from London where his father, I. M. Pei received the Royal Gold Medal.

This highly successful occasion was a perfect example of how business and culture can work together in harmony for everyone's benefit.  Citibank once again demonstrated its leadership in this regard.  This event was held at Citibank's elegant Fifth Avenue branch under the direction of Raymond Wong, Branch Manager and Stephen Fusco, Area Director and Senior Vice President.
